Lemon Lime

This simple and tart Shrub will surprise you with its depth of flavour.  We build an oleo saccharum with the peels and sugar which draws out the citrus oils,  creating what we like to call “lemonade on steroids”. Margaritas practically beg for this Shrub!


lemons, organic cane sugar, white wine vinegar, lime juice concentrate (water, concentrated lime juice, sulphites, lime oil)

Heavenly Margarita:

Lemon Lime Shrub, Tequila, ice (measurements depend on your machine and taste)

Citrus Champagne Sangria:

1 oz Lemon Lime Shrub, 1 oz Cointreau, 3-4 oz champagne, top with soda water

Ginger Lemongrass

Spicy ginger and tangy sharp lemongrass makes this Shrub one of our most popular. There’s a lot of love (aka work) that goes into this flavour, as its not easy to get juice out of a grass! A tropical take on a Moscow Mule, or simply added to rum are our fav ways to drink it. Also makes a kick-ass salad dressing!


organic raw apple cider vinegar, turbinado sugar, lemongrass, ginger, lemongrass tea (lemongrass, water)

Salad Dressing:

1/4 cup oil of choice, and 1/4 c Ginger Lemongrass Shrub, 2-3 tsp of grainy mustard, 1 tsp honey ginger balsamic vinegar. Shake it up!

Spicy Mule:

1 oz Ginger Lemongrass, 1 oz Vodka, top with ginger ale

Pineapple Turmeric

Pardon the bad joke, but pineapple and turmeric really are a match made in heaven! (cue eye roll) The sweetness of the pineapple paired with the earthy turmeric root results in the most brilliant liquid gold, that could likely be called the nectar of the gods. (ok, I’ll stop now) Gin and Rum go well with this Shrub.

1 oz Pineapple Turmeric Shrub, 1 oz Gin, dash of Campari, top with soda
