We are super stoked to have gotten in to the Comox Valley Farmer’s Market! This thriving local market happens every Saturday from 9am-1pm at the Courtenay Fairgrounds or the Native Sons hall (depending on the time of year). July 1st is the annual Canada Day Parade and Festivities at Lewis and Simms Parks! We will be at Lewis Park from 9-4. Happy Canada Day!
June 22nd-Sept 7th is the Downtown Courtenay Summer Nights Market! A great place to spend your Friday night, supporting local artisans, and producers, grab some food and listen to some live music! Check our Facebook page for the evenings we will be there!
Saturday May 12th is the Cheese and Meat Festival, in Victoria. This venue promises to be a must for any foodie on the island. Tasting sessions, seminars, and a store where you can buy everything you sample at the end! Not just meat and cheese either, also tons of tasty accompaniments and beverages too! Saturday, February 3rd is the 40 knots and Friends Winery Takeover Winter Event. There will be a large array of cocktails, wines and whiskey tasting stations, live music performances and local bites. Go home with your own complimentary tasting glass & recipes. We will be serving samples of our Shrubs, as well mixed cocktails, and have bottles for sale. Sunday January 14th is the Annual North Island Hitched Wedding and Event Affair, at the Florence Filberg Center, Courtenay. November 10th is the The Cumberland Community Forest Society’s Annual Fall Trivia Event! And we have donated some Shrubs for some yummy cocktails! Our 1st event! So exciting! We will be a part of the Comox Valley Farm Cycle Tour 2017! This self guided bike tour includes 27 stops at an incredible array of progressive farms, producers and growers. There is even a shopping shuttle, so you don’t have to carry your purchases!
